Day – 03 – Dawki & Mawlynnong – Morning breakfast and start for the excursion to Dawki & Mawlynnong – The drive is nearly 90 kilometers and is nearly 02½ hour drive one way – After breakfast excursion to Dawki river – Dawki or Dauki is a town in West Jaintia Hills district, Meghalaya, India – The Indo Bangladesh Border and then to Mawlynnong (The cleanest village in Asia) – Mawlynnong is a village in the East Khasi Hills district of the Meghalaya state, India – It is famous for its cleanliness and natural attraction – An engineering marvel of Indigenous Khasi Tribesmen – Who weaved the routes of the ereca tree to make bridges across streams – Later drive back to Shillong (Optional) or Stay nearby of Mawlynnong village

Day – 03 – Excursion to Krang Shuri & Laitlum – Morning after breakfast & start for the excursion to Krang Shuri waterfall – A drive of around 02 hours & reach the waterfall point, from here one has to trek a bit to reach to the waterfall, listen to water sound & insects crackling down – Reach to the waterfall by 15 minutes (Normal walk timing) – Enjoy the blue waterfall & enjoy the scenic – Completion get back to vehicle & drive to Laitlum Grand Canyon – which in literal sense means “The End of Hills” or “The End of The World” – Nestled in the embrace of majestic hills and valleys, The Laitlum Canyons in one such spot from where the vast, verdant and fascinating panorama worth watching – Then drive to Krangsuri Waterfall which is located in Jaintia hills and around 02½ hours away from Shillong – Krangsuri is one of the best waterfall in the country – A small trek of about 10 to 15 minutes to the waterfall where you can see the beauty of the wonderful falls and turquoise water – Drive back to Shillong – Evening leisure – Overnight stay at Shillong

Day – 04 – Shillong to Kaziranga National Park – Early morning breakfast & Check out of hotel – Transfer to Kaziranga National Park – Next drive 290 kilometers and is nearly 05 hours drive – While driving to Kazirang option of visit Teghoria waterfall, Bordua Namghar (Optional i.e. Extra cost of INR 1500) – Bordua the sacred birth place of Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva, the father of Assamese nation and founder of Eka Sharana Nama Dharma, reach Kaziranga by evening – Kaziranga is a vast expanse of tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests, criss-crossed by four major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, and the park includes numerous small bodies of water – The sanctuary, which hosts two-thirds of the world’s great one-horned rhinoceroses, is a World Heritage Site – One can visit the Observation towers – Observation towers are situated at Sohola, Mihimukh, Kathpara, Foliamari and Harmoti for spotting wildlife – One can also visit tea plantations rubber plantations – Evening free to stroll around the area – Overnight stay at Kaziranga – Also can watch Bihu dance (At own cost) – Overnight stay at Kaziranga National Park Vicinity

Day – 06 – Nagaland (Kohima Sightseeing) – After breakfast visit War cemetery – The memorial commemorates brave soldiers and warriors who laid their lives fighting the Japanese during the World War II – It is embellished by two tall crosses against the backdrop of seasonal roses & lush grass – The base of the lower cross, is engraved with touching lines: “When you go home, tell them of us & say; For your tomorrow, we gave our today” – Nagaland state Museum: it is housed in ancestral weaponry & provides an insight into the Naga culture, traditions & history – The exquisitely carved gateposts, status pillars, statues & traditional Naga costumes & jewellery are the main exhibits of the museum – Kohima village: The village is said to be the biggest & most populous in entire Asia – At the entrance are exquisitely carved ceremonial gates, with the scimitar of horns of mithun (Bos Frontalis), symbolizing bravery & valor – The Catholic Cathedral at Aradura Hill in Kohima, is one of the biggest cathedrals in North-east India. Its splendid architecture makes it one of the important landmarks of Kohima. Day – 07 – Transfer to Imphal – After breakfast transfer to Imphal – It is approximately 150 kilometers and it is nearly 05½ hours drive – Imphal is the capital of Manipur, a state in northeastern India – On the Imphal River, Kangla Fort was once the seat of local rulers, and now houses relics – Ruins of the Palace of Kangla, the royal seat of the former Kingdom of Manipur, are in the city metropolitan centre, surrounded by a moat – Tulihal International Airport is 08 kilometres (5.0 mi) south of the city which connects direct flights to New Delhi, Kolkata, Aizawl, Guwahati, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, Agartala – With an average elevation of nearly 800 m, Imphal has a cooler and more pleasant climate than most of India – It can drop below freezing in the winter – Check in Hotel – Evening free at leisure – Overnight at Imphal

Day – 09 – Transfer to Silchar – Early morning after breakfast drive to Silchar – It is approximately 255 kilometers and is nearly 07½ hours – 08½ hours drive by scenic road – Silchar is the headquarters of Cachar district in the state of Assam, southeast of Guwahati – It earned it the name bon mot of “The Island of Peace” – During the British rule, ships were docked at the bank of the river Barak. Day – 11 – Aizawl Local Sightseeing – Morning after breakfast full day city tour visiting – Bara Bazar: It is the most important shopping hub with stalls selling garments, and other commodities – Here the people can be seen in their traditional costumes selling products from farms and homesteads including river crabs with little wicker baskets – Luangmual Handicrafts Centre: 7 kilometers away from Aizawl it takes half an hour to reach by car – The ‘Khumbeu’ ceremonial bamboo hat is made here using waterproof ‘hnahthial’ leaves – Mizoram State Museum: This museum is situated at Mc Donald Hill in the town center. it is having an interesting collection of historical relics, ancient costumes, and traditional implements – (Open Monday – Friday from 9:00 A.M to 5 PM.
