Hotel / resort booking in Dooars are always booked in advance as the number of accommodations are limited unlike Darjeeling, Gangtok or Pelling. Attractions :  Accommodation is available in a few cottages above the ground supported by pillars or known as the tree house popularly known as Gachbari is the one that attracts one the most.  Elephant Captivity management where you can see and enjoy giving elephants a bath, Elephant joy ride and Tribal Dance Show / Folk dance in the evening.  You can also enjoy the Bullock cart ride (Optional) to the Medhla Watch tower from there.

Attractions :  Accommodation is available in a wooden building with AC rooms and with all modern amenities popularly known as Jaldapara Tourist Lodge is the one th e most attractive Resort  in the region.   Elephant Ride, Jeep Safari etc can be enjoyed staying there. Toto Para & Chilapata Visit can also be enjoyed staying here. Visit to Phuentsholling (Bhutan) iis also a tourist activity.  Tribal Dance Show / Folk dance in the evening can be enjoyed from here

Hotels can be booked in the following Food Plan 

• European Plan (EP i.e. Only Stay) 

• Continental Plan (CP i.e. Lodging / Bed and Breakfast) or 

• American Plan (AP Stay, Breakfast, Dinner and Lunch) and 

• Modified American Plan (MAP i.e. Stay, Breakfast and one major Meal i.e. either Lunch or Dinner). 

A I is added to all the abbreviation to indicate that All Inclusive i.e. there is no extra taxes or charges. AC accommodations required 5 % - 10 % luxury taxes. Hence we add it to the cost if guest request for Air Conditioned accommodations. 

The abbreviations APAI, CPAI, MAPAI, APAI will be mentioned on package or hotel booking. AI means All Inclusive. Example - EPAI i.e. European Plan All Inclusive. This indicates that the service taxes / luxury taxes are included. All the resorts, hotels, forest rest house, home stay have their own restaurant / kitchen hence food is not a problem. It is best to book package on MAPAI as the lunch can be taken outside during excursion or one can avail food at any of the nearby Dhaba / Road Side restaurant. Driver or the person in the Hotel can guide the guest accordingly.
