Mangbrue Gompa & view point - Mangbrue Gompa and view point is situated at a distance of nearly eight kilometers above Kewzing and is also situated at a distance of nearly eight kilometers from Ravangla on the road to Damthang. Mangbrue Gompa is also an excellent view point of the mountains and hills. One can feel nature and close to the almighty as the prayers sacred words mingle with the shirring prayer wheels. The main festival of the monastery is on the 28th & 29th day of the 12th month of the Tibetan calendar. This corresponds to the Gregorian calendar i.e. month of February. The viewpoint offers spectacular view of the sunrise, as the first few rays sun lightens up the snowy peaks of Mount Kanchendzonga, Mount Narsing, Mount Jopuno, Mount Kabru, Mount Rathong, Mount Pandim and the rest of the Himalayan Range.
