Mountain Cycling - Mountain biking is the sport of riding bicycles on road or off - road. Often over rough terrain, using specially designed mountain bikes. Mountain bikes share similarities with other bikes, but incorporate features designed to enhance durability and performance in rough terrain. Mountain biking can generally be broken down into multiple categories: cross country (XC), trail riding, all mountain, downhill, free ride, slope style, etc. The vast majority of mountain biking falls into the recreational riding categories and are practiced in nearly all the Himalayan destinations. It requires stamina, balance, bike handling skills, self-reliance, etc. Skilled riders pursue steep technical descents and, in the case of free riding, down hilling, and dirt jumping, aerial maneuvers off natural features, etc.

There are few track mountain bike routes through forests, over hills, Mountains, through streams and open commons. The graded mountain bike routes are all exciting to bike. You can now buy a pack with all waterproof route maps and route descriptions together with a useful information booklet. Easy - Easy level has been designed so as to make it accessible to new comers - For this level the terrain is easily negotiable and consists of gradual slopes and small climbs - The entire trail is through the forest and anyone decently healthy can do it or even first timers -Time taken for 1 complete session is approximately 1.5 hours
Advanced - The advanced level requires a better level of fitness and a certain know how of the sport - Here too, the trail is entirely through the forest region of hills and certain parts may be a little technical - Time taken for 1 complete session is approximately 5 to 6 hours
Hardcore - This is for the more experienced and serious bikers which require a good level of fitness and knowledge about the sport - There are various trails for the same passing through various villages and forest areas - The tours conducted range from 3 to 6 days depending on guest's package

Make a weekend of mountain biking and stay somewhere green in eco-friendly accommodation in one of the Mountain bike centers or camps. Our people at the information centers can also book a bed ahead for you. Some of the popular biking plans are 2 hours, 4 hours, one day cycling, cross destinations with breaks or without breaks depending on the capacity of the guests, etc. Cycles are arranged by our organization for a maximum of 6 -10 numbers. Mountain bike tours are always kept closer to nature and we try to make this tour enjoyable by keeping the distance travelled in a day to 20 – 25 kilometers in hills and uphill. The downhill cycling may include 50 – 60 kilometers or even more but average in the plains its always 50 kilometers and above. Hard core cyclist covers 80 – 90 kilometers per day in plains and average of 40 – 50 kilometers in hills including uphill and downhill cycling.
